Study company law, finance, performance management, research and problem-solving, corporate taxation, enterprise, auditing and sustainability.
Year Two — Level 6
Progress into advanced reporting, financial management, international trade and finance, assurance, advanced financial accounting, personal finance and a two-stage dissertation.

Assessment

Teaching normally includes around 12 hours of lectures and seminars each week, alongside approximately 28–31 hours of independent study.
Formative and summative assessment includes coursework and examinations.
The dissertation develops independent research design, data analysis, critical reflection, academic writing and time-management skills.

Academic requirements
- A relevant recognised Level 4 qualification, such as a CertHE or HNC.
- Students progressing through the relevant CertHE route must successfully pass that qualification before Level 5 entry.
- Eligible previous London Metropolitan University CertHE students may be exempt from an academic interview.
English language
- GCSE English grade 4/C or above, Functional Skills Level 2 English, or equivalent.
- Eligible previous London Metropolitan University CertHE students may be exempt from an additional English assessment.
Interview
Applicants may be invited to an admissions interview about their motivation or an academic interview to assess subject readiness where standard requirements are not met or they have been out of education for some time.
