Is Student Finance guaranteed?+
No. Eligibility depends on your individual circumstances and the relevant assessment.
Does holding a visa mean I am not eligible?+
A time-limited visa may mean you do not meet the nationality and residency rules. However, some people with particular immigration or leave statuses may still qualify, so Student Finance England must assess your circumstances.
What if I received Student Finance before?+
Previous higher-education study or Student Finance can reduce or remove Tuition Fee Loan entitlement. It does not always mean you are automatically ineligible because the rules depend on the course, previous years of study and individual circumstances.
Can support include living costs?+
Depending on individual circumstances, eligible students may be able to apply for support with tuition fees and living costs.
