This degree combines computing, networking and software development with specialist cyber-security practice. Students learn to identify vulnerabilities, investigate incidents and build secure technology solutions through laboratory work, industry-relevant tools and an independent honours project.

Academic entry
- Standard entry normally requires 90 UCAS Tariff points, including Mathematics, Applications of Mathematics or Computing.
- Examples include Scottish Highers BCCC or A Levels CCD including Mathematics or Computing, with Mathematics or Computing also required at GCSE level.
- Minimum entry may be considered from 63 UCAS Tariff points, including Mathematics, Applications of Mathematics or Computing.
- Appropriate HNC or HND qualifications may support advanced entry, subject to the modules studied.

- IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent completed within two years of the course start.
