Foundation Year
Prepare for university-level study while gaining an introduction to management accounting, financial accounting, communication, digital skills and ethical business practice.
Year One
Build the core language and techniques of financial and management accounting, ethics, corporate responsibility and professional information systems.
Year Two
Develop specialist knowledge in governance, business law, reporting, performance management and research methods.
Year Three
Study advanced financial management, audit, taxation and contemporary issues before completing either a dissertation or a business ethics and research project pathway.

Assessment
Practical ways to show what you know.
Formative assessment is used within modules to provide feedback and help you prepare for formal graded work.
Summative assessment normally takes place near the end of each module and may include written examinations, reports, portfolios, essays and presentations.
Independent study and consistent participation are important for progression. Assessment methods are reviewed regularly with external academic oversight.
Entry requirements

Applicants aged 18+
- A Level 3 qualification equivalent to 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points.
- Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent.
- An interview assessing listening, speaking, numeracy and writing.
Applicants aged 21+
Applicants without the standard qualifications may be considered if relevant academic, professional or vocational experience demonstrates commitment and readiness for the course.

Tuition fees may increase in later years in line with government policy and inflation.
Funding your study
Eligible students may be able to apply for a UK Government Tuition Fee Loan to cover course fees.
A Maintenance Loan may also be available to help with living costs while studying. Eligibility depends on personal circumstances, the course and the provider.
