Course overview
This degree connects core business disciplines with the ability to interrogate and communicate data. Students build analytical judgment through data visualisation, finance and marketing analytics, decision intelligence, operations analytics and cognitive systems while developing professional communication and problem solving.
Foundation pathway
The Foundation Year develops data, research, communication and professional skills before automatic progression to Year 1 after successful completion.
Teaching and support
Students receive support from a personal tutor and use lectures, seminars, workshops, case work, simulations and guided independent study to connect theory with professional practice.
Standard delivery is on campus over two weekdays between Monday and Friday, normally from 10:00 to 17:00.

Foundation Year entry
- A minimum of 40 UCAS Tariff points is required for Foundation Year entry.
- Applicants normally need GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or accepted equivalents.
- Applicants returning after five years away from study, and non-standard or mature applicants, may be required to complete an academic interview.
English language
- IELTS 6.0 with no component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent English-language qualification.
Alternative entry
Relevant non-standard qualifications, professional development and recent work experience can be considered individually; an academic interview may be required.
