Assessment
Practical ways to show what you know.
Assessment is practice-focused and coursework-based, with progressive formative exercises used to build confidence before graded work. The published course information states that there are no written examinations.
Assessment methods can include portfolios, educational guides, practical programming tasks, open-book practical exercises, database implementations, website creation, case studies, software applications, system demonstrations, presentations and technical reports.
Independent research, homework and group work form an important part of the programme. Assessment methods are reviewed regularly with external academic oversight.
Entry requirements
