Learn to lead projects from idea to delivery.
Develop practical project leadership capability across planning, finance, people, quality, procurement, risk, strategy, innovation and global delivery, beginning with an integrated Foundation Year.
Foundation Year
Develop academic and employability skills while learning the fundamentals of projects, management and leadership. Practical work strengthens time management, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication.
Year One
Build a detailed understanding of project and business principles, organisational behaviour, ethics, project finance, teamwork, data-informed decision-making and digital tools for project managers.
Year Two
Develop core professional capability in people and performance, project planning and control, quality assurance, compliance, resources, procurement and project-management research.
Year Three
Apply advanced thinking in risk, strategy, global project management, innovation and change before integrating your skills through a substantial 40-credit project.

Assessment
Practical ways to show what you know.
Assessment is predominantly coursework-based and designed around realistic project and business situations. Formative activity allows you to receive feedback and improve proposals before graded work.
Methods can include essays, reports, real-life simulations, presentations, projects and group debates, with opportunities to apply learning to your own ideas and practical scenarios.
Independent research, homework and group work form an important part of the programme. Assessment methods are reviewed regularly with external academic oversight.
Entry requirements

Applicants aged 18+
- A Level 3 qualification equivalent to 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points.
- GCSE English grade 4/C or CEFR B1. An English test at a partner campus may be available if you do not hold this qualification.
- An interview assesses listening and speaking, while writing is assessed through a personal reflection statement.
Applicants aged 21+
Applicants without the standard qualifications may be considered if their commitment and related academic, professional or vocational experience demonstrate readiness for the course. The same English requirement normally applies.

- Complete the application form.
- Provide supporting documents when requested.
- Attend the panel interview and complete the supervised personal reflection statement.
- The course provider makes the final admissions decision.

Fees shown apply to new and continuing Home students from August 2026.
Tuition fees may increase in later years in line with government policy and inflation.
Funding your study
Eligible students may be able to apply for a UK Government Tuition Fee Loan to cover course fees.
A Maintenance Loan may also be available to help with living costs while studying. Eligibility depends on personal circumstances, the course and the provider.

Do I need previous project-management experience?
No. Previous experience can be useful, but the Foundation Year and subsequent curriculum are designed to build project-management knowledge from the fundamentals upwards.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is primarily coursework-based and can include assignments, reports, realistic simulations, presentations, projects and group debates.
What industries can I work in?
Planning, risk, leadership, finance, procurement and change-management skills are transferable across business, technology, construction, public services and many other project-based sectors.
