Course overview
This one-year, 120-credit qualification introduces how organisations operate while building academic and workplace confidence. Six modules connect academic writing, digital and numeracy skills with the business environment, accounting, finance and marketing.
Teaching and learning
Full-time teaching uses lectures, seminars, workshops, practical activities, group discussion and independent study, with real business examples and collaborative work.
Progression
Successful completion provides direct entry to Year 2 of BA (Hons) International Business at UWS London, subject to the University's progression requirements.
Applicant eligibility
This programme is intended for Home students who are eligible for Student Finance England or who are self-funding. International and EU tuition is not available.

Academic entry
- Applicants should normally be aged 18 or over, demonstrate an interest in higher education and be eligible for Student Finance England funding.
- Business work experience is desirable but not essential.
- Applicants complete reading, writing and speaking assessments as part of the selection process.

- The on-campus selection process includes English reading, writing and speaking activities together with subject-specific tasks.
