Course overview
The course begins by strengthening visual communication, reflection and academic practice. Later study develops subject methods, collaborative problem-solving and independent creative authorship, culminating in self-directed professional outcomes.

Academic and admissions requirements
- 72 UCAS tariff points or above, or a 60-credit Ofqual qualification at Level 3.
- International qualifications are assessed for UK equivalence through ECCTIS/ENIC.
- Applicants aged 21 or over who do not meet the standard requirements may be considered with at least two years of relevant UK work experience and a professional CV.
- Applicants under 21 who do not meet the standard requirements may be considered with a Level 2 qualification and at least one year of relevant UK work experience demonstrating transferable skills.
- A personal portfolio is required and may be submitted as a one-to-two-minute video/audio presentation or as a digital collection of images and writing.
- All applicants complete an admissions interview assessing academic potential, English proficiency, motivation and enthusiasm for the subject.
English language requirements
- English proficiency at CEFR B2 or above is required.
- Published accepted evidence includes GCSE English Language grade 4/C or above, IELTS 5.5 overall, Level 2 Functional Skills English or the provider’s internal English assessment.
