Assessment
Practical ways to show what you know.
Knowledge and understanding are assessed through assignments that can include written management reports, organisational or company analysis, presentations and practical responses to real-world issues.
Formative assessment and feedback are provided throughout the course to support academic development before graded work.
Most modules normally include at least two assessments. The final-year major project brings together research, critical analysis, concise academic argument and practical application.
Entry requirements

Direct entry
- 96 UCAS tariff points from three A levels, such as BCC, are normally required.
- Alternative routes include Irish Leaving Certificate BBCCC, Scottish Highers BBCCC, a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at DMM in a relevant subject, or an International Baccalaureate Diploma with 24 points.
- At least three GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Mathematics, are required.
- Mature applicants with appropriate relevant work experience may be considered individually.
English language
- IELTS 6.0 Academic or an accepted equivalent English-language qualification is normally required when English is not your first language.
- GCSE English at grade 4/C or above is required for direct entry; the foundation route normally requires grade 3/D or above.
International qualifications
International applicants may be considered through recognised A levels, an International Baccalaureate with at least 24 points, a recognised university foundation programme or relevant country-specific qualifications.
