Assessment can include software and technical projects, practical laboratory work, reports, presentations, portfolios and individual or group assignments.
Teaching uses lectures, seminars, computer-based workshops and independent practical study to connect concepts with contemporary technology practice.
The final year includes a 40-credit undergraduate project and specialist modules aligned with the chosen technology pathway.

Academic entry
- 112 UCAS tariff points are normally required for Year 1 entry.
- GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade 4/C or an accepted equivalent are required.
- Direct entry to Years 2 or 3 may be available with a relevant Level 4 or Level 5 computing or IT qualification.
English language
- IELTS 6.0 with no individual element below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent.
International and non-standard entry
Equivalent international qualifications are considered against current country-specific requirements. Applicants with relevant professional experience but without standard qualifications may be considered individually where the course permits.
