Build a route into professional construction management from foundation level.
Build the technical, commercial and leadership knowledge needed to plan and deliver construction projects, beginning with a foundation year in academic, mathematical and digital skills for the built environment.
Foundation Year
Develop academic research, professional, mathematical, computational and digital-literacy skills in a built-environment context.
Year One
Establish the principles of construction technology, materials and structures, site engineering, infrastructure, design, procurement and management.
Year Two
Advance into construction technology, environmental science, sustainability, surveying, contract administration, building pathology and refurbishment.
Year Three
Apply construction-management practice to fire safety, sustainable development, finance, risk, teamwork and a substantial applied research project.
Blended learning
Combine online and on-campus study through daytime, evening/weekend or weekend timetables. Exact campus and live-online sessions are confirmed at enrolment.

Academic requirements
- 48 UCAS points.
- Two A levels, a BTEC Level 3 qualification at PPP or MP, or an accepted equivalent.
- Relevant professional experience may be considered individually.
- GCSE Mathematics grade 4/C, Functional Skills Level 2 Mathematics, an accepted equivalent or a successful university mathematics assessment.
English language
- GCSE English grade 4/C, Functional Skills Level 2 English, an accepted equivalent or a successful university English assessment.
- IELTS 5.5 or an accepted equivalent is normally required.
Interview
Applicants may be invited to an admissions interview about their motivation or an academic interview to assess subject readiness where standard requirements are not met or they have been out of education for some time.
