Course overview
Build career-focused expertise through an applied honours degree.
Combine programming, mathematics, statistics, software engineering and cloud technology with data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Course overview
This interdisciplinary degree develops the technical and analytical skills needed to work with data and intelligent systems. Students progress from programming, databases and applied mathematics into DevOps, visualisation, data engineering, big data and AI applications, then demonstrate their capability through an honours project.
Teaching and learning
Full-time teaching uses lectures, tutorials, workshops, laboratory sessions and independent study, with practical projects based on real data-science and AI challenges.
