Prepare to improve health and social care through inclusive, ethical practice.
Develop the knowledge, research skills and professional values needed to address health inequalities and advance inclusive, ethical practice across health and social care services.
Year One
Build core knowledge of health and social care, diversity, research and academic practice, and human growth and development.
Year Two
Study public health, health and social care research, preparation for professional practice, social policy and leadership.
Year Three
Examine contemporary health and social care challenges, complete a substantial 60-credit Health Project and select two specialist options in public health, management, mental health or global health.
Blended learning
Combine online and on-campus study through daytime or evening/weekend timetables. Exact campus and live-online sessions are confirmed at enrolment.

Academic requirements
- 112 UCAS points.
- At least one A level or an equivalent Level 3 qualification may be considered. The published requirements also reference grades BBC in three A levels or 112 equivalent UCAS points.
- Mature applicants with relevant workplace experience may be considered individually.
English language
- GCSE English grade 4/C or above, or equivalent.
- IELTS 6.0 with no component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent. An alternative English assessment may be available.
Interview
Applicants may be invited to an admissions interview about their motivation or an academic interview to assess subject readiness where standard requirements are not met or they have been out of education for some time.

Tuition covers teaching, access to resources, registration and student support services. It does not include optional books, stationery, printing, accommodation, living costs, travel or leisure activities.
