A supported route into inclusive health and social care practice.
Begin with an integrated social-science Foundation Year before progressing into health inequalities, public health, research, policy, leadership and inclusive professional practice.
Foundation Year
Explore social-science and current-affairs issues while developing academic research, digital communication, teamwork, critical reading and professional confidence for degree-level study.
Year One
Build core knowledge of health and social care, diversity, research and academic practice, and human development.
Year Two
Progress into public health, research, professional preparation, social policy and leadership.
Year Three
Complete contemporary health and social care study, a 60-credit Health Project and two specialist options in public health, management, mental health or global health.
Blended learning
Combine online and on-campus study through daytime or evening/weekend timetables. Exact campus and live-online sessions are confirmed at enrolment.

Academic requirements
- 32 UCAS points.
- At least one A level or an equivalent Level 3 qualification carrying a minimum of 32 UCAS points.
- Mature applicants with relevant workplace experience may be considered individually.
English language
- GCSE English grade 4/C or above, or equivalent.
- IELTS 5.5 with no component below 5.5, or an accepted equivalent. An alternative English assessment may be available.
Interview
Applicants may be invited to an admissions interview about their motivation or an academic interview to assess subject readiness where standard requirements are not met or they have been out of education for some time.

Tuition covers teaching, access to resources, registration and student support services. It does not include optional books, stationery, printing, accommodation, living costs, travel or leisure activities.
The course information recommends allowing approximately £200 per year for optional course texts.
Access to a laptop or desktop computer with a microphone, speakers, webcam and reliable internet connection is required for live online sessions and assignments.
