This future-focused degree combines an integrated foundation year with practical preparation for global hospitality and tourism careers. Foundation Year

Assessment is based on practical industry tasks rather than traditional examinations and dissertations. It can include reports, case studies, business and destination plans, consultancy work, campaigns, podcasts, videos, infographics, posters, interviews and debates.
Students can choose a 40-credit Level 5 professional placement that is academically supervised and assessed.

Standard entry
- A minimum of 45 credits at Level 3 completed within the last three years, or an equivalent qualification.
Alternative entry
- Applicants without the standard qualification may be considered with at least two years of professional work experience, supported by a CV and reference.
- Applications through a non-standard route are assessed individually and may require a personal statement, interview, CV or references.
English language
- IELTS 6.0 overall with no component below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80, or an accepted equivalent.
- Previous study in English may be accepted with suitable evidence of the medium of instruction.
