Course overview
This course develops problem-solving, research and professional skills through theory, contextual case studies, field trips and live projects focused on the design and development of cities. Successful students can progress to eligible Oxford Brookes degrees including construction project management, planning, surveying, real estate and urban design.

Assessment is embedded in applied built-environment work and can include research tasks, reports, digital outputs, presentations and live-project activity.

Academic entry
- 48 UCAS Tariff points; an example offer is A levels DD.
- International Baccalaureate: 24 points.
- BTEC: PPP or MP. Alternative qualifications and applications from mature students are welcomed.
English language
- IELTS 6.0 with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking, or an accepted equivalent.
