Assessment is 100% coursework at Levels 4 and 5, with no written or practical examinations shown in the published assessment pattern.
Methods include portfolios and reports, individual project outputs, group enterprise proposals, presentations, reflective journals, case-study projects and pitches.
Ongoing formative feedback supports development throughout the programme.

Academic entry
- Standard entry normally requires 48 UCAS tariff points or an accepted equivalent Level 3 qualification.
- Published alternatives include A levels at DD, BTEC or NVQ Level 3, Access to Higher Education and accepted T Levels.
- Three GCSE passes at grade 4/C or above, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent Level 2 qualifications are normally required.
- Applicants without the standard academic profile may be considered with two years of relevant work experience, an interview and, where required, a written task.
English language
- GCSE English at grade 4/C, Functional Skills English Level 2 or an accepted equivalent is normally required.
- Published alternatives can include IELTS 6.0 for direct undergraduate entry, Duolingo English Test 85, or another accepted English-language qualification appropriate to the route.
International and non-standard entry
Equivalent UK and international qualifications are considered individually. Relevant professional experience may support a non-standard application and an interview or written task may be requested.
